It's time to check your LinkedIn settings

When was the last time you checked your LinkedIn Security and Privacy settings?

It's been a long time for me.

The reason I looked at my settings is because I tried to send a message to a LinkedIn connection and I couldn't.

I didn't know you could turn off LinkedIn messaging.

There are a lot of new settings so I highly recommend taking a look.

Some of the big ones for me were:

1. Turn on two-factor authentication
2. Limit the notifications I receive
3. Don't let your connections see your LinkedIn network
