You need to remove apps in your Facebook account to limit who can see your LinkedIn profile data.

Go to Settings in your Facebook account and select Apps. You will see a lot of apps in this section.

Over time, you allowed permission for all of these apps to access your Facebook profile data and you probably didn't realize it.

Remember those quizzes or games you played on Facebook? You gave them permission to access your profile.

Remember when you updated your Facebook profile photo to support a cause? Bingo, they harvested your Facebook profile data.

Remember when you went to a website and they offered to let you log in using your Facebook account instead of having to enter your name and email address? They too sucked up your Facebook profile data.

This has been going on for years so delete the apps in your Facebook profile and be very conscious of who you let access your profile.
