The #1 question I receive about LinkedIn is “What do I do with all of those invitations to connect?”

Here's what you need to do with your invitations to connect with the new LinkedIn interface.

Part 2

Thank you Ron Sukenick for showing me how you can send a message to the person before accepting their invitation. Here's how to do it.

Part 3

Here's another update that appeared the next day.

Here's what you can do with your pending invitations:
1. Accept the request
2. Ignore the request
3. Send an InMail to learn more about why they want to connect
4. If you have Sales Navigator you can send them a message to see why they want to connect
5. You can Follow them without connecting to see if they are a fit for your network and accept their invitation at a later date
6. Send them a message before connecting
