Wanted: LinkedIn Ads Expert, blog article written by Ted Prodromou

I've been hiring software developers and WordPress experts on UpWork.com for years.

I also have an account to promote my consulting services but I've never accepted a project.

Here's why.

I came across this posting for a LinkedIn Ads expert.

I've been doing LinkedIn ads for years and this job description caught my attention.

Job Description:

We are seeking a results-oriented LinkedIn Ads Expert to strategize, execute, and optimize our LinkedIn advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our LinkedIn marketing efforts have the maximum return on investment, and align with our brand strategy and business goals.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and manage LinkedIn ad campaigns that align with business objectives.

- Conduct audience research to create targeted ad campaigns for different customer segments.

- Write compelling ad copy and work with the creative team to produce engaging ad creatives.

- Monitor and analyze campaign performance using LinkedIn Analytics and other tools to ensure KPIs are met.

- Optimize campaigns for conversions and cost-per-acquisition (CPA), adjusting strategies as necessary.

- Manage budgets to ensure spend is efficient and within the allocated funds.

- Test and iterate on ad components such as ad copy, images, targeting, and landing pages to improve campaign performance.

- Stay up-to-date with LinkedIn advertising best practices and implement new strategies accordingly.

- Prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with other team members to integrate LinkedIn advertising with broader marketing campaigns and strategies.

I've been doing this for years. No brainer.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a LinkedIn Ads Expert or similar role with a strong portfolio of successful LinkedIn campaigns.

- In-depth knowledge of LinkedIn advertising solutions, including Sponsored Content, Sponsored InMail, and Dynamic Ads.

- Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and analytics tools.

- Proficiency in analyzing data and translating insights into actionable campaign improvements.

- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.

- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- LinkedIn Ads Certification is a plus.

Again, I meet all of these requirements except the LinkedIn Ads Certification.

I was ready to apply until I saw the hourly rate.

$5.00/hour Fixed-price

Are you kidding me?

This job description sounds like they need a well-qualified ad manager with a lot of experience.

According to ZipRecruiter, there are 220+ open positions for a digital advertising manager in the San Francisco area with a median salary of $140,000.

Now you know why I don't accept jobs from www.UpWork.com

What is your best source of new business?
