Why have I been studying copywriting for over 20 years?
Before I wrote Ultimate Guide to LinkedIn for Business and Ultimate Guide to Twitter for Business, I didn't write much.
I never thought I was a good writer.
Maybe it was those RED marks on my English assignments in school.
Learning how to market my business was a daunting task.
There was one skill that helped me build relationships and promote my services.
That skill was writing.
The more I learn about copywriting and persuasion, the more I enjoy writing.
I even study famous writers and their books on how to write better.

Yes, I am a nerd.
Today, I write every day.
Not always copywriting.
Writing for fun.
The more I write, the easier it gets.
I'm not telling you to become a copywriter.
I'm recommending you learn the fundamentals and write a little bit every day.
I hang out with a lot of copywriters.
