It's election time in the United States and we're being bombarded by “Vote for Me” messages.

Essentially, people running for office are selling to us.

Vote for me because…

It's no different than you selling your products and services.

Buy from me because…

Why do people buy from you?

Because you have a solution to their problem.

Why do people buy from you instead of buying from your competitors?

Because you have a clear message that tells them why your solution is better than your competitors.

I'm seeing a lot of “Vote for Me” signs in our neighborhood.

A few new faces and of course, the incumbents.

In this video, I explore one candidate who is running for town council in our town.

She wants my vote but she's not giving me any reason to vote for her.
