Did LinkedIn restrict you from sending invitations to connect?

LinkedIn will restrict your account if you send too many invitations to connect and people do not accept your invitation or they flag you as “I Don't Know”

There is a magic formula that LinkedIn uses to compare your sent invitations vs. accepted invitations vs. I Don't Know responses. Of course LinkedIn doesn't tell us the exact numbers that make up this magic formula so we have to be careful.

This is why it is important to customize your invitation message and let the person know why you want to connect with them.

When you meet someone at a conference or a networking meeting, invite them to connect within 24 hours and remind them where you met and why you want to connect with them.

To be honest, we've probably never met 90% of our LinkedIn connections in person but they can still be a valuable members of our professional network.

I have LinkedIn connections around the world that refer business to me and I refer business to them.

In this video I'll show you how to view your Sent LinkedIn invitations and clear out the old requests.
