When you are in business for yourself, you often fall into the trap of trading hours for dollars. Of course, most consultants and service providers charge by the hour but it's the biggest mistake you can make.
John Corcoran is today's guest and he shares how he avoids the “hours for dollars” trap.
John is an attorney, writer, and a father, and a former Clinton White House Writer and Speechwriter to the Governor of California. Throughout his career, he has worked in Hollywood, the heart of Silicon Valley, and owns his own boutique law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area catering to small business owners and entrepreneurs.
He is the creator of Smart Business Revolution and the Smart Business Revolution podcast. He’s the cofounder with Dr. Jeremy Weisz, of Rise25, LLC, an education and training company that helps entrepreneurs from professional services (i.e consultants, coaches, writer/speakers, financial advisors) to stop trading hours for dollars and diversify their revenues by shifting from “one to one” client work to “one to many” group programs and offerings.
