Happy Birthday to Ultimate Guide to LinkedIn for Business!
This is a copy of my book in a bookstore at San Francisco International Airport 10 years ago.
My mother was so proud of me, and she carried a copy of my book in the basket of her walker when she was in assisted living.
My friends and colleagues started sending me pictures of my book from airports around the world.
How cool is that?
It's hard to believe Ultimate Guide to LinkedIn for Business is 10 years old today.
To be honest, I'm not the kind of guy who keeps track of dates like the first time Ellen and I went out on a date or the day we got our dog, Lilah.
Today, a Facebook memory reminded me of Ultimate Guide to LinkedIn for Business's birthday.
I didn't grow up wanting to be an author or writer.
I hated English class.
Verbs, adverbs, nouns, participles, prepositions, and dangling modifiers all made my head hurt.
So far, I've written three editions of Ultimate Guide to LinkedIn for Business and one edition of Ultimate Guide to Twitter for Business.
I guess it's time to start working on the next editions.
Speaking of books...
Thursday is the next Mastermind Book Club meeting.
This month we're talking about Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely.
It's a fascinating read outlining how predictable we are and how we make irrational decisions.
The book club is free, and Tom Ruwitch and I even read the books for you.
