The LinkedIn Pulse app is being retired next week. Here's the announcement from LinkedIn:

With the recent launch of Trending Storylines and the popularity of our relaunched feed experience, we've created a single destination to stay in the know on timely issues, news and what's happening in your professional world. As such, we'll no longer be supporting the Pulse app as a standalone experience as of May 31, 2017. This will not have any impact on your ability to publish on LinkedIn.

I've been using the Pulse app for years, long before LinkedIn purchased it. The Pulse app was developed in 2010 as a Stanford class project and quickly became one of the top news aggregating apps.

After LinkedIn removed Pulse from the menu last year it was hard to subscribe and unsubscribe to Pulse content. Now we have to go to the LinkedIn mobile app to control the content we see.

Here's a video from LinkedIn showing you how to customize your newsfeed.
