My business didn’t come from a big idea.
It came from a quiet realization:
I loved my job as an Online Marketing Manager, but deep down, I didn’t want to live on someone else’s schedule.
My boss did me a favor and laid me off.
At this stage of life, I didn’t want to chase clients.
I definitely didn’t want to “retire” and lose the part of me that still had something to give.
But I didn’t know what was next.
I just knew this stage of my life was done.
So I asked myself the same questions I shared with you in the “Find Your Why” guide:
✔ What actually lights me up?
✔ What have people always come to me for?
✔ What do I want this next chapter to mean?
Slowly, a different kind of business started to take shape.
✔ A business built around my values, not just my skills
✔ A rhythm of work that left room for grandkids, golf, and deep conversations
✔ Offers that came from who I am, not who I used to be in my career.
It wasn’t instant.
It wasn’t perfect.
But it finally felt like me.
And that’s when everything changed.
Next week, I’ll walk you through how to create your own version of this using what I call the Encore Life Blueprint.
It’s the exact process I used to design a business and lifestyle that gives me purpose and peace.
You don’t have to burn everything down.
You just have to get honest about what you really want and build around that.
Have a great weekend.
